How to [achieve biggest goal] WITHOUT [biggest fear]

Give a little teaser about your hook here

In this portion of the sales letter, you want to give a quick backstory – not a long or drawn out one, but one that lets the reader know they should listen to the rest of the letter.

If you have proof, testimonials, or results to share, this is a good place to sprinkle a couple in, as skepticism will be high at first.

Lead into the first call to action that mentions that this is a special offer, kinda like this:

Now you’re going to transition into the “here’s what you’re gonna get & learn” section.

We are going to rely heavily on bullets in this section, for 2 good reasons:

1) A bunch of bullets indicates to the reader that there is serious value inside this product (which there is!)

2) Bullets are much easier to skim than paragraphs. This creates a structure, desire, and curiosity… “What the heck is on page 72!?”

3) It is common & effective to say things like “learn x, y, and z on page 72”. That shows the reader that the content is really in there, and there will always be the ONE bullet that puts them over the edge and makes them want to buy, so this gives them a reference to get right to the good stuff. If you are PRE SELLING your book, you can leave out the page numbers, but once the book is done with editing, it is a great idea to add them back in. You’ll see me do this throughout the challenge.

Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll discover inside the Digital Copy of [your book]

  • Big picture bullet point goes here. And lesser content of bullet point follows.
  • I like to have a bold section in the bullet to draw attention, and then tease out the rest of the content so they want to learn more (on page 115)
  • Remember, we are selling a book. That means that the sales page is allowed to be more heavily text-focused than you see in other funnels. You are selling to readers. (I’ll explain more about this at the top of page 14)
  • Your page numbers do not need to be in order. The main thing we are going for here is to find the most tantalizing things we can draw out of our content and highlight them on this sales page.
  • Aim for 30+ bullet points. Seriously. If you are doing this BEFORE writing, you’re giving yourself more ammunition to add into your content.
  • Your mission is to sell yourself too. I love writing sales pages BEFORE creating the actual product because I can let my mind go crazy and think “OH THAT WOULD BE SWEET TO ADD” and I’m at the perfect time of the process to add it. Much harder to add things in once the book is done (while it still stays cohesive)

How would it feel if you could confidently…

  • They’re pretty excited now with everything you’ve shared, but let’s tie it back to the tangible results they can expect from their purchase.
  • The next few bullets will give you some ideas…
  • create your personal blueprint to move forward knowing each next step.
  • believe in yourself knowing that you’re not going it alone
  • multiply your message effectively
  • accelerate your progress

Then you can add a quick blurb explaining that is the entire reason for creating the product they are looking at!

As a nice segue, you can mention that you understand some of this may sound too good to be true, which is why you’re putting your best foot forward and offering….
