As you create the content for your course, keep the following in mind.

What’s the End Goal?

What will they have when they complete the course – what will they have to show? A blog? A new client? An ebook? Flatter abs? Better behaved children? What’s the end goal they’ll achieve?

For Course by Number, point A is a student who wants to create an online course and point B is a student who is making money daily with her online course. That’s the goal I want all of my students of Course by Number to achieve!

Do the Hard Work For Your Student

As you create your course, think of “hacks” and “shortcuts” you can share with your student. What will make their life easier? How can you present a difficult topic in a super simple way? Can you provide your students with fill in the blank templates, guides or check lists? What would make your life easier if you were to go through the transformation again?

How Many Sections + Lectures to Include in my Course

You want to stay on topic and provide the solution your reader desires. Don’t add fluff, nobody has time for fluff.
If you feel you need to add more to your course, include visuals and explain them. You can also include real-life examples to add meat to your course.
Remember, what is the definition of done? Stop there.
Visualize the transformation you want your reader to undergo. Give your reader the shortest path to get there. Help them along with examples, visuals and tips.
Once you’ve helped your reader go from point A to point B, your course is complete.
