Printables By Number

Hey Suzi and John, I adore your courses and have loads left still to make my way through. My etsy shop with printables is toddling along and I am looking forward to keeping adding more digital products (Hedgethehog shop), my blog is still very much in its infancy – like really – but it is set up and I will get to it very soon. My first children’s book was published on Amazon two days ago and the second one is about half way done. You will see a very obvious hedgehog based niche with all my stuff! I run a wild hedgehog rescue and so most of what I do is aimed at educating and informing about these wonderful creatures. A percentage of what I make also goes directly back into my rescue too. My book on Amazon is called ‘The Tale of Bracken the Hedgehog’ and I would love for you to have a look at it. Thanks again to you both. I really struggled getting any traction with my Etsy shop, but after I got Printables By Number, I finally started getting customers and I made more than 200 sales in the first six months after enrolling.

I’ve followed Suzi & John for years on social media, and they’ve landed a smart folder in my inbox that I look forward to checking daily. Their course on Jasper caught my attention because it was at a time when I had been suffering from severe writer’s block. Recently sent you an email blast about Advent Calendars. I read it and then went about my day. When I woke up the next morning I was inspired to create my own Advent Calendar – for DOGS! It was based off a handout I created years ago I took the information and revamped it and turned it into a freebie and created my first landing page as well.

Thank you for all you do to help other people be successful. I created my first printable bundle and in the very first week I had $140 in sales! Yay! The new beginning has begun!

I took the Printables By Number course because I want to quit my full-time job and have the freedom to work when I want, and for myself. I am ready to quit putting money into other people’s pockets and working for others. I have signed up for so many courses before that I haven’t finished; however, after enrolling, I started off right away, going through the course. Omg! I am so glad I saw this video. I have been wanting to try my hand at creating printables but wasn’t quite sure how to go about it and this video helped so much. From grad school and in my current job. I use powerpoint SO MUCH but I have never thought to use it for printables and definitely didn’t know about the smart art thing.

I just wanted to drop in with another update for you guys and a big fat THANK YOU! I’ve been going though the printables by number course again after the recent update and thought I’d give Etsy another try.

I was starting to get some sales on the blog after my first time around but didn’t really get Etsy off the ground.

I figured this update was my sign to focus on Etsy again and I’m so glad I did. Plus, my little guy has recently been diagnosed with autism and we really needed the funding to help with therapies for him so it was the kick in the butt I needed to get it going again.

I really stuck with it this time and focused on your advice and info in the course.

I niche down and started seeing some great momentum by October. By November I became a star seller!

Today I reached 102 sales on Etsy! I’ve officially made over $1000 (total on Etsy! Woo hoo!

I wanted to share my successes with you both since you both played a part in it. In March of last year I bought EBA. By November I gave up because I had 33 subscribers. I was just done.

I had already been blogging off and on since December of 2015. Most I made in 5 years of blogging was $18. Then one day I got this idea to start completely over so I bought Blog by Number this was now December (2019).

I already had a couple of your courses. So I knew your teaching style and already adored you. So I jumped in and devoured the course along with the other courses I already had.

I worked like crazy until March when I almost lost my dad and took an entire month and half off. May 1st I sat down and made a plan. I told myself I have until the end of June to make this work or I will have to go back to work.

I have to keep pinching myself because I never thought I would get over 5,000 PV’s in a month let alone actually make some money. With everything going on in our country right now I wanted to share some good news and say thank you!!!

6 weeks later update: I’ve made a total of $358 (58 sales!) and I now have 950 subscribers!

I struggled with creating a planner for more than a year. Countless YouTube videos and hours wasted learning redundant information. Then I came across an add on my Facebook literally after I thought about giving up. I took it as a sign and bought the course on the fly. I sat in my grass the rest of the day and went through it not even realizing how much time had pass. BUT the next day, my first planner was uploaded to amazon! With my own ideas on paper. I needed the push!

I took this course because I wanted to achieve extra income to pay for my kid’s tuition fees and to pay my debt. .. After enrolling to Printable by Numbers it open up my eyes how to achieve extra money on the side. I accomplished the upgrade of my first etsy shop. I even got 2 sales in my first week, that is was the best feeling ever. I would recommend to anyone who wants to look for extra money while working from home or on the side. … love this course so much.

Happy Monday! I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for your support over the past few years. I know you guys know what it’s like to have little kids at home… I had 3 in 2.5 years. I came across Start a Mom Blog when I was pregnant with my second, and have enjoyed the journey ever since. My vision has changed a few times between now and then, but I am so excited now that my kids are slightly older (2.5-5yrs old now) to have more time to dedicate to growing my business.

I remember the first year, I was so excited to have made just $40 off my blog, then two years ago I was so excited to make $500 in a year from printables, and last year $1000. It’s not a whole lot, but I also really only had 1 hour a week. I have been spending the past few months re-watching courses and re-reading books to take what I have and continue building up.

I am working on finishing up a summer activity bundle and have been playing around creating a sales page and sales funnel, and it really is fun. I obviously hope to make money from it, but even if I don’t, I had fun learning something new.

All that to say, thank you for teaching me something new and virtually supporting me and the rest of your students, but most importantly, thank you for virtually keeping me company in the early years of parenting and giving me my own little outlet.

I had added a couple of templates in my purchase but then I saw a Printables by Number course so I decided to buy just one template first and wait to buy other templates later after I go through the course. Then I was super surprised getting email from John to ask if I have any technical issue with purchasing and they are there willing to help when they saw one of the template I chose was pending in the cart. John was also very generous and kind to give me that template free. Have a very good impression with the customer service. I took this course because I have always wanted to be able to make printables especially for the preschool age but never knew how to go about it. I have spent so much time finding and printing out various activities and worksheets and have always wanted to do my own. After enrolling, I have learned a lot and I haven’t finished the course yet but the course is easy to go through and informative. I am pretty excited to see what the future holds.

I also wanted to show you (and this will make you proud) that one of your calendar templates from the Printables By Number course saved me a ton of time. Now, you won’t believe this but I created a calendar series by using only that one template. I’m attaching some pictures as proof.

I also learned that your method of making PDFs in ppt is much better. The document size of printables I made in ppt after going through that training came out much much smaller compared to similar PDF files I made in Canva last year which was a headache if you have a lot of PDFs to upload on your blog.

I’m not really sure why I’m emailing you. It’s not much of a success story yet. I just wanted to tell you my results so far. It’s so tiny, but I’m proud of the little success I had, and I appreciate the time and effort you put into the course. I actually bought your course about a year ago now, and I hit the ground running. Then almost as soon as I started, my entire house flooded, and everything came to a grinding halt for me and my son. Once the house was fixed, I had to then turn around and sell it, so I’ve been remodeling and selling my house for about 8 of the 11 months since I bought your course. Despite everything going on in my life, I still managed to sell over 125 items on 98 orders, and $250 in revenue.

I still have a lot to learn, and I’m basically starting over with your course so that I can fully devote the time and attention to it that I need to make this a success. I’m a little all over the place with my niche and I can’t quite settle on what works for me yet, but I know I’ll get there. I’ve especially enjoyed working with AI Art, and I’m having a blast with Midjourney. But I really want to take this step-by-step to learn everything I can. Because with everything I had going on, and I was still able to bring in a little extra, it obviously works.
